HOST HOTELS BEATS TARGETS, BUT CUTS FORECAST

Host Hotels Inc, owner of luxury and upscale hotels, posted better-than-expected results Wednesday, but cut its full-year forecast as room rates and occupancy for its hotels dropped sharply.
