The number of Internet users in China reached 338 mil in June, while the U.S. population was just under 307 mil. The number of Chinese Web users has jumped 13.4% since the end of '08. But overall Internet penetration in China is still just 25.5% vs. more than 70% in the U.S. A new surge in Chinese Internet use is expected this year with the country's rollout of 3G mobile service, which supports wireless Web surfing.
