TRENDS & INNOVATIONS - WEDNESDAY (INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY)

Investor's Business Daily - A new military robot promises to fuel itself by foraging for organic matter like grass, wood and even dead bodies. The Energetically Autonomous Tactical Robot, or EATR, could roam on its own for long periods without having to be refueled because it can extract energy from biomass. EATR, being developed by Maryland-based Robotic Technology, also could use conventional or alternative energy. It could be used as a robotic ambulance, a mobile gunship or a transport vehicle.
