AMERIPRISE TO PAY $17 MILLION IN SETTLEMENT WITH THE S.E.C.



The S.E.C. said the company did not disclose compensation for selling certain real estate investment trusts to customers. Ameriprise did not admit or deny wrongdoing in its settlement.
